The AKSSF, established in 2000, supports important programs and projects for implementation of the 1999 Pacific Salmon Treaty agreement, as well as programs and projects to help ensure that the salmon stocks, salmon habitat, and a vibrant salmon-related economy in Alaska are sustained.
